Music has always been a big part of my life. My Mother worked for a radio station, and growing up in New York City I have always been surrounded by it. All different genres too, I find it impossible to limit myself to only few styles. My passion for music has always been that of a fan, not the creation aspect of it. Although I have always enjoyed live prefomances, it wasn't until I arrived at college that I really started to go to shows. Seeing Tiesto (a legendary electro-house DJ/producer) play at the UMass basketball arena my freshman year changed it all for me. I never felt such pure happiness and satisfaction just dancing with all my friends in a sold out arena with lights flashing everywhere. This when I decided I wanted to be part of this world and produce shows myself. College is a place where you are free to take risks and chances to do what you want without having to worry about failing. I have been working on throwing my first event: Splash Bash. It is a EDM show where all the the proceeds go to Sharsharet, an organization that helps women who have breast cancer. This project has taken up a lot of my time and it feels really good to finally see my passions become a reality. If the event is as successful as it is seems its going to be I will no doubt be planning bigger and better ones in the future.
