Michael Fischer
IT Architect, Small Business Owner, and Photographer in Lewes, Delaware
Michael’s passion has always been with new technologies, specifically using them to resolve real business challenges, to lower costs and to bring products and services to market faster.
Recently retired from Unisys, Michael had the role Solution Manager for Field Engineering Services and as End Point Offering Architect. His ability to create new offerings for a Unified EndPoint experience (traditional desktop/laptop, virtual desktop and mobile) allowed the company to differentiate itself from its competitors.
In the past, Michael worked with a large Pharmaceutical to introduce various emerging technologies. One of his great successes was the introduction of the iPhone as an alternative to Pfizer's Blackberry solution. The Blackberry was deeply entrenched within their environment, with more than 25,000 devices in use. After launching the iPhone as a service in early 2010 the number of iOS devices grew to 30,000 by 2012. Michael and his team also worked on developing a solution with the iPad to replace the traditional tablet PC used by several regional sales force organizations.
Today, Michael resides in Lewes, De. Michael is actively seeking new exciting challenges and endeavors. You can find Michael at his restaurant or doing private IT Consulting for any sized company that needs innovative solutions to meet today's challenging business needs.
