Alissa Wolken

I am currently finishing up my last semester as a graduate student in Communication Studies at Northern Arizona University (NAU). I teach Introduction to Public Speaking to undergraduate students at NAU. My job requires me to teach students how to become better public speakers as well as how to organize their thoughts into an intellectual speech that stimulamtes the audience. I am also a radio host for KJACK, I host a sports talk show titled "Games Middle." On the show we discuss current sports topics, primarily focusing on professional sports. In the past I have written for several publications including my undergraduet school paper, The Western Front, where I was published weekly in the sports section. Recently, two of my scholarly papers were submitted to conferences where I was asked to speak aboput my paper to scholars in my field. I have strong writing and speaking skills and understand how to use several Social Media sites as well as numerous computer programs.
