A program for women who want to unlearn violating and learn to equalize, womanalive Violating Intervention and Prevention Program's two-stage mission is:

  1. Help all willing women, who identify as survivors, perpetrators or both, to notice, account for and stop the violating in their lives.
  2. Recruit successful graduates to become community violating intervention and prevention peer activists and restoration advocates.

Since 2011, womanalive has been a Batterer Intervention Program provider certified by San Francisco Adult Probation's Domestic Violence Unit. We work with women on probation, parole and those involved with Child Protective Services.

We also work with women who have not had legal consequences around the violating in their lives (either to themselves or others).
