Janie Orrell

Hoylake

For twenty years a have been a practicing holistic massage therapist and other healing arts. Primarily this has been part of my own unfolding healing journey, I also teach Yoga having studied in India, originally in 2004.

As my hands have flowed across the rivers of a thousand bodies, I too have found myself in the ebbs and flows of human nature which have enriched my experience, questioned my wisdom and and often changed my perception of what life is truly about.

My work, studies and travels have included a myriad of places of collosal beauty, including, Australia, Alaska, Canada, The Carribean, Cyprus and India to name a few, and in recent years I have been exploring my Northern English roots which has lead me further into the unfolding adventure of my creativity. I am currently studying for a BA Hons in Fine Art which is challenging to the heart, mind and the spirit, and I am also studying part time on a permaculture design course, which so far is like returning home to medicine of the earth. I am interested in working with anything natural, be it people, materials, food etc, so basically I am trying to live as holistically as I can within my current means, and be present with whatever I am presented with. I'm still learning and intend to be for teh rest of my life. If you would like to invite me to work on a project with you then please be in touch and we can see how it flows.....
