As a Mother of three boys, I have come to the realization that life ultimately is about generativity and legacy. I have had my greatest moments as a mother and as a wife. I have always dreamed to be sucessful in career and family, but family has come first and now career is following suit.
I am actively continuing my journey to be the best I can be and with that comes me furthering my academic endeavors in Mental Health Counseling and anticipating a doctorate's program in the near future. In the meantime, I launched a non-profit organization, Women's Access To Empowerment also known as W.A.T.E.
The Women’s Access to Empowerment Organization W.A.T.E was founded in 2013 and was designed to provide a valuable resource to females looking to make active and positive changes in their daily lives. These changes will affect their households, their families, friends, and ultimately their communities. These interactions will not only improve communication and networking capabilities, but it will allow females from all walks of life the opportunity to better their current situations. It is important that we appeal to the diversity of women in our city and that we offer them an opportunity to share and learn from one another. W.A.T.E. intends on being this medium to bridge an evolving female population to the dynamic changes society brings.
We are always appreciative of any donations. You are welcomed to donate your Services, Time, or Treasurery.
As a new hobby I would love to begin a journey in getting healthy and fit. My five year goal is to run a half marathon. I believe in me. In addition to health, I would love to get more youth involved in physical activity and cultural music appreciation. Music from different countries with different instruments fascinate me. Music is the most universal language.
