If you don't like having to pay extra for prints, negatives, albums, or packages, I am the photographer for you. I take the pictures, edit them, put them on a CD, and give them to you to print and use as you choose. That's it. I don't offer anything particularly unique or fancy or over-priced; just your basic "meat 'n' potatoes" photography: appealing, unpretentious, inexpensive, and satisfying.

I realize that you may have spent a lot of time and effort planning your event, and my goal is to capture the results of that passion you have put into it. I specialize in weddings and birthday/anniversary parties, and social and business events; but will take on pretty much anything--I've even shot funerals. I'm the perfect affordable photographer for smaller or limited-budget celebrations, and informal occasions and gatherings.

I make no pretenses; I'm not the best, nor the cheapest. However, if you want good photography at a manageable cost, I fit the bill.

Although I have been active in photography for over 20 years, I have only recently adopted it as a true profession. I have always enjoyed photographing friends' weddings, and would present the resulting images as a wedding gift. One of my friends once remarked, "These are wonderful; you should think about doing this professionally."

So, I have been a professional photographer for five+ years, and an amateur photographer for 20+ years. I'm not sure what that means, except that I used to do it for free for friends and now I'm charging for it for strangers. However, the quality and care are the same. I treat every event as if it were my best friend's wedding. I guess that's what one could call the personal touch, and I guess that's what I provide.
