Anneliese Woods-Smith

About me. I am a student currently living in Port Macquarie NSW, Australia. I am in the progress of completing a Diploma of General Studies and would like to continue towards a Bachelors of Nursing in the soon to be future. My passions include helping others in need and pursuing them to be the best version of themselves that they can be. I believe to purse my dreams that nursing is the correct and right path for myself to have a success future career.

I am highly passionate about helping others and showcased this during my time completing Max Potential. Max Potential is a program for younger members of the community, who help the community by volunteering their time. The program was completed over several weeks and consisted of my different skills to work on based on different activities. During this program I obtained my Certificate 1 in active volunteering.

In my previous schooling I was on the student representative council and had a leadership role. From these positions I have achieved good communication skills and leadership from my leadership positions. My ability to work with a team soar as I am one of many siblings and have worked in large groups through my schooling.

My past work experiences and jobs I have attained high positions such as supervisor and shift supervisor. For my present job I currently hold a valid Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gaming card. My skills include being highly organised and detailed oriented. I excel with great time management and sense of urgency as well as taking initiative. I can adapt to changes quickly and am effective and attentive with speaking and listening.

My interests range from yoga to dogs. I am also interested in reading, food, and movies. Some other interests of mine include spending time with friends and family and reviewing their behaviour to ensure they are happy and on track.

I would describe myself as compassionate, outgoing and insistent if I had to chose a few words to describe myself. Ensuring that others are on the right path is something I revel in. Watching others make the right choices and continue to grow gives myself sense of pride that boosts my happiness knowing I am helping others live their best lives.
