Raised by musically encouraging parents, Phil Woods' passion for music started young. Beginning with piano lessons at age five to competing nationally as an instrumentalist in high school, music has always had a foothold in Phil's life. Phil graduated with a degree in Electric Bass Performance from the Berklee College of Music in 2011. Finding himself drawn to the business aspects of music, Phil Woods now interns in the business and legal affairs department of BMG Chrysalis while studying entertainment law at Loyola Law School. His other interests include cooking, reading, and trying to find the perfect cup of coffee.
