Word of Life Ministries has been in existence since 1982. Pastor John E. Hopkins was ordained in 1973 by the Church of God in Christ. Pastor Hopkins became an Elder a year later and was also an evangelists for 10 years. He married Connie Hopkins in 1975 and she became co-pastor with him in Word of Life Ministries. They began a radio ministry in 1995-1997. Pastor Hopkins received his Associate of Arts in Business at the University of Phoenix. Co-Pastor Connie Hopkins received her Associate of Arts in Business and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Phoenix. Word of Life Ministries donates to the Help Center and several organizations to assist people in the community. Pastor Hopkins and his wife have four children who are involved in ministry as well as one daughter in law and one grand child. Word of Life Ministries has an outreach ministry on Youtube.com that reaches people all over the world.
