My name is Chantel’e Marie and I am an all-round media minx! Ever since I can remember, I’ve always had a passion for creative writing and expressing myself through words. This all began at the age of around five when I began writing my first poems (they rhymed and all sorts). My enthusiasm for writing evolved in my teems when I took more of an interest in news and topical affairs. This led me in the direction of journalism and creating content for newspapers and magazines - even publishing my own mag at uni! The love I have for creating content has led me in many directions and I am now an online marketing manager for a well-known digital agency in London. Another one of my passions, which coincides with journalism, is broadcasting. I've hosted prime time shows both in Luton and London and am currently voicing my opinions to listeners from all over the globe on Tellstream radio each and every Monday from 10pm (GMT). Although the platform from where I broadcast has changed, the format has remained pretty consistent, which is where the name Words and Riddims came from. The show is built up around topical interests and music. With a love for reggae and dancehall, I decided to expand this format and create a blog and podcast which you can check out over at www.wordsandriddims.com and the rest is evolving as we speak...
So in a nutshell: I'm a content creator and marketer by trade I run my own blog, podcast and co-host a weekly music & talk show I'm a reggae dancehall music connoisseur and like to travel I like to stay on top of current affair, news and topical issues I'm an all-round communicator and multi-media type of girl!
