Benjamin Spencer is the author of the novel Honey Rider; the editor of AmericanWineWriter.com and CadillacCicatrix.org; and the founder of The Etna Wine School.

Ben studied Writing & Poetics with the Writers Workshop at the University of Iowa, and the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University.

He studied winemaking and viticulture at the University of California at Davis, with the Court of Master Sommeliers, and he holds a Diploma of Wines & Spirits from London-based Wine & Spirit Education Trust.

His writing has been featured by Into Wine, Corkd, Mutineer Magazine, Barfly, The Press newspapers (Chicago), [MelancholyBreakfast], Signature, Trouble, CadillacCicatrix, Eligible Magazine, Medium, AmericanWineWriter.com, Wine Dogs and others. He lives in Sicily.
