With Family roots dug deep into the soil of the sunny Okanagan, it may surprise you that this is not where Megan saw herself one day raising a family of her own.

Raised in Northern BC, Megan had dreams of living a professional life in the Kootenay Mountains - owning a quaint, funky little home and operating her own business as a Registered Massage Therapist.

Little did she know ...
At the age of 18 she would meet the love of her life at a sandwich shop, and in the few short years to follow they would get married and start a family - her life course being forever changed.

Now as a late-twenties Mama of 3 wonderful girls Megan finds herself digging in her own roots right where it all began.

While Megans' life has taken many unexpected turns, she wouldn't change it for the world. She has been blessed with the ability to stay at home and raise her children, and as a family they have dreams of owning a little house on some land where they can develop a homestead of their own.

Megan has many passions! She is an avid crafter, and sees herself one day having a little shop where she can support local artisans by providing space for their work to be showcased. Shy to the core she enjoys challenging herself by writing, and most recently by networking with people in her community. Her hobbies include crochet, writing, jewelry making, sewing, reading, and listening to music.

Over the years she has done many things to supplement their family income, by working from home. Recently she created WAHMeg.com to share those ventures, and provide information to other women looking to create a real income from home - while still enjoying time with their family.
