A native of New York. now living in Ft Myers, Florida for the last 24 years. Diagnosed three times with cancer, fighting harder each time to defete it. Geting well is not the only issue that comes with cancer. Someone who works, has to exaust their vacation, and sick time. When that runs out, you are not only fighting for your life, but also everyday living. The paychecks start to arrive with a zero balance, how do u buy food, pay rent, or your electric bill? The Drs are also looking for your co-pays. This is a time you should be stress free!

Hoping to prevent others employed persons from having to suffer the devasting financial consequences of this illness, I pooled my resources and efforts into the Working with cancer relief fund, Inc., a non-profit organization to assist working people with short time financial relief while unable to return to work due to treatment.
