Warren Workman
Salt Lake City, UT
A veteran of both film and TV, Warren Workman knows what it takes to make it big. As host of the new series “Filmed In Utah”, he knows what it takes to take your film and bring it to a wide audience.
Workman is no stranger to the industry, working on “American Idol” and Oxygen’s “Dance You’re A** Off” as well as other TV, Film and Web shows.
Having appeared in various capacities on about 20 full-length feature films and TV shows according to IMBD, Workman is aware of your films need for exposure, and more importantly, knows how to get your message to your audience.
In his TV show “Filmed in Utah” Workman talks to directors, producers and actors to deliver a realistic, entertaining and informative program. For example, if you’re a local filmmaker, how important is patronizing Sundance?
‘The film business is a business, and you have to represent yourself in a professional manner. One of those things is networking”, said Workman. “It’s not just networking with people who say your films are great, it’s [networking] with people who can fund, distribute and market your films and the people with those connections are at Sundance.”
When Warren is not on set filming new episodes of “Filmed in Utah”, he can be found teaching Film Production at Salt Lake Community College and working as a private film and television publicist.
