Racquel Ann Gelvezon

Racquel Ann Gelvezon is a Filipino Financial Adviser Representative from Promiseland Independent, an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm licensed by Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to represent insurance and retirement fund companies in Singapore.

Racquel aims to be a resource person for Filipinos who are looking for guidance, inspiration and empowerment as they tackle the OFW’s adventures and misadventures specifically in the area of money and finances.

Racquel who has been living and working in Singapore since 2007 is no stranger to the journey where she encountered (and she still does!) a few roadblocks towards financial confidence. That’s where she found herself spending more, saying Yes to impulsive buying, or losing money to a failed business venture or bad investment.

“There's an irony to gaining confidence: some types of confidence are subject to experience. When you're wrong about something or fail at something, don't lose confidence in yourself; instead, lose confidence in your particular belief or your particular method.”

Racquel turned to Financial Education, an area which she forgot. She read books, listened to podcasts, and attended classes. She kept her mind always open for learning and eager to apply what she learnt.

It was fated how she landed a job in the Financial Advisory: something she needed to supplement her lifelong learning. Besides, she was feeling empowered to do something on her own after leaving the corporate world.

It gave her a purpose: to help Filipinos to be financially confident. If one loses it, it can be found. If one has it, it can be enhanced.

Today, Racquel works closely with her team’s highly-experienced advisers and the best wealth protection and wealth accumulation partners to provide her clients with a well-balanced portfolio, at the right price, and for the right reasons.
