Wrendly Mesidor
Teacher, Consultant, and Writer in North Miami Beach
I am Wrendly Mesidor, an educator, civic leader, and public servant committed to empowering students, strengthening communities, and developing future leaders through education and service.
For the 2026–2027 school year, I serve as a 5th Grade Math, Science, and Social Studies Teacher at St. James Catholic School within the Archdiocese of Miami. Previously, I taught 3rd Grade English Language Arts and Social Studies during the 2024–2025 and 2025–2026 school years, where I fostered literacy, critical thinking, and student growth.
In Summer 2024, I completed the Teacher Accelerator Program (TAP) as a Rising 4th Grade Intern Teacher with Miami-Dade County Public Schools through the Summer 305 Program, further developing my instructional practices and classroom leadership.
Beyond the classroom, I continue to serve on the North Miami Beach Redevelopment Advisory Board, as well as the North Miami Beach Multicultural and Beautification Committees. I previously served as Vice Chair of the Redevelopment Advisory Board from May to November 2024 and as Acting Chair until July 2025, helping advance community redevelopment and neighborhood revitalization efforts. I was also a candidate for North Miami Beach Commissioner in 2022 and am currently a candidate for the Miami-Dade County School Board, District 1.
I am the founder of Wrendly Mesidor Consulting, where I provide coaching and consulting to help individuals and organizations achieve their goals. I am also the author of Secrets of Self-Motivational Success, encouraging readers to discover purpose, embrace leadership, and pursue personal growth.
My academic background includes an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Broward College, a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication with a minor in Business Management from Florida International University, and a Master of Science in Mass Communication from Florida International University. While at FIU, I served as the university’s first Student Government Lieutenant Governor and the first Regional Director of the Student Programming Council, and I earned the Global Learning Medallion in recognition of my leadership and academic achievement.
Before becoming a classroom teacher, I served as a Program Specialist at Broward College, supporting student engagement, leadership development, and civic readiness.
Through every role I have held, I remain committed to expanding educational opportunities, strengthening communities, and leading with integrity, service, and purpose.
