When a child is told they have a disease, they begin to fear death. It seems death might come early. It made me consumed with myself, wanting every thing that I could get and felt I deserved it. One can rationalize this because everybody else seems to have a normal and long life. It finally came to me that I was writing my own obituary. We are all in that cycle, no matter how long we live. The focus changed, and then began to help old ladies with their grocery cart, help a child tie a shoe, change a tire for a woman or fix other peoples cars for no charge. Finally found out Red Cross would take diabetic blood, and started to give every eight weeks. Karma turned a new direction and happiness happened. It's amazing that you get out of life what you give.
