Andrew is the founder of Film Geek Radio, an online network of digital audio programming related to film and television criticism. He hosts “Cinema Fix,” a show devoted to discussion and analysis of mainstream blockbuster films. He's also on the Executive Committee of the North Carolina Film Critics Association. Before starting Film Geek Radio, he hosted the film discussion podcast MovieChatter at RandomChatter.com for five years. He has also contributed written film criticism and arts features to a variety of publications, including Stone Canoe, Film School Rejects, Syracuse New Times, CaryCitizen, and GordonAndTheWhale.com.

Andrew has interned under Oscar-winning director Barbara Trent, shot and edited dozens of video projects, programmed film events at an independent cinema, worked as a door-to-door salesman, and has spent extensive time in Latin America and China. In his spare time he can usually be found at the movies, curled up with a book, or pondering the mysteries of the universe over a good cup of coffee.
