Lisa Shaw
I am, first and foremost, and as a whole, a Catholic wife and mother. As a bonus, I am a writer! While, I prefer poetry and children's books, I have done some freelance writing. I also have a fondness for editing and, as a result, often find myself reading for errors; most likely a result of years of homeschooling.
I have this blog at the encouragement of my very supportive husband, who believes I need an outlet. He is right.
My favorite season is Fall.
I love good wine, cheese, dark chocolate and flowers, especially daffodils, and any excuse is good enough to have one or more of these every day.
My favorite books are Jane Eyre, The Count of Monte Cristo, Bleak House and anything by Jane Austen.
I enjoy knitting/crocheting, birdwatching (with my "which bird is which" book at my side), traveling, meandering breakfast conversations with my family, puzzles, coffee dates with Mitch, Irish pubs and festivals, good music, photography, storytime with my toddler, and the riverfront in Wilmington, NC.
I would wear flip-flops all year long if I could.
Laughing is great!
