A man of many interests, both profesionally and personally, Waseem has spent years experimenting with life, making the most of his opportunities, and growing as an individual. After completing his Bachelors of Science from the University of Toronto, majoring in Biology and minoring in Anthropology and Religion, Waseem moved to South Korea for a year to work as an Enligsh Teacher. After this broadening experience, he returned to Toronto, completed a post-graduate certificate in Macroeconomic Theory and Policy from Ryerson University. With a happy accident job searching, Waseem ended up having a life changing experience working as an In Hospital Program Specialist with Camp Oochigeas, a camp for kids with cancer, in Toronto. Wanting to advance his clinical work in the hospital to more effectively administer programs and policies addressing real-world problems, Waseem moved to New York City to complete his Masters of Science in Social Work at Columbia University as a part of the Management Fellows program.

With an insatiable passion to work for change, as well as a thirst for more challenges, Waseem returned to the land where he was raised, Saudi Arabia, in order to affect positive social change, and bring the skills and knowledge that he has had the privilage to experience.
