I have served the Milwaukee community as a human services professional for over 16 years. I began my career on the frontlines and quickly advanced to leadership positions in prominent non-profit agencies. In addition to my administrative talents, I am an experienced group facilitator/ trainer, and a member of a state-wide training team that provides domestic violence prevention training for social work professionals. I am a self identified “cycle-breaker” who has overcome traumas from my own family life, and committed to helping others do the same.
I hold a Bachelors degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and a Masters degree in Management from Cardinal Stritch University of Wisconsin.
I am a new entrepreneur! In April 2013 I started opened Supportive Personal Care Services, LLC, a home care agency that trains and hires family and friends to take of their loved ones who are elderly or disabled.
I founded Supportive Personal Care Services, LLC because I know what it is like to care for a loved one while handling all the other responsibilities of life. For several years I served as a caregiver for my mother while working full time in a demanding job and taking care of my own family. I know that many caregivers have a similar experience. This is why Supportive Personal Care Services, LLC is a company that supports the caregiver as well as the patient; it’s a difficult job and you should not have to do it alone.
Although I am an accomplished professional, I believe my most important roles in life are wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend.
