With over 10 years experience working in ICT, I have held various roles from 1st line Helpdesk Support to Change Management, through to ICT Education Support , e-Learning Technologist and onto my current role as Educational Technologist.

I have worked for Sun Microsystems (as a 3rd-party contractor), British Telecom, Royal Bank of Scotland (and RBS International), Scottish Borders Council, Borders College and now for the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine.

I worked as the e-Learning Technologist (formerly without the 'e') for Borders College over 2 years and Install, Manage, Upgrade and Develop the Moodle and Mahara instances for the college, as well as supporting lecturer use of these tools and other emerging e-learning technologies, such as webinar software, iPad apps in the classroom and e-assessment.

I have also developed some plugins for Moodle and Mahara that are available for usage and was also involved in Border College's BOLT project funded by JISC (@JISCBOLT on twitter) to try to create toolkit that other institutions can 'pick up and go' for when they are looking at creating an e-learning team.

I am currently working for the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine as their Educational Technologist, where I have been managing their Moodle installation, as well as planning and designing and developing a new installation for a new medical programme (both infrastrcture and content).
