I spent over 15 years developing large scale software mostly in C++ for a variety of software applications from a distributed, shared data model to electronic patient records to mission control software and more.

For the last 5 years, I took a break and spent my time petting puppies as Barbara and I opened a pet boutique on the beautiful Oregon Coast. The business is successful, and it has been fun, but it is time for the next challenge -- mobile programming. So, I am currently learning iOS and getting my feet wet again in the software realm.
