I am an artist at heart. All my life, I have been drawn to express the beautiful and ephmeral in all things. As a professional, I crave creating beautiful user experiences that are my "love notes" to my customers. As an individual, I write heart-felt missives in every meal I cook, every photograph I take, and in every sketch I draw.

That said, I am a mutt amongst engineers -- the traveling short-order cooks of the software world. I have worked as aerospace engineer. As a Japanese interpreter. As a software engineer. As a manufacturing design engineer. And now as a program manager. I have worked in the US and Japan. I have worked in aerospace. And in basic research on super-computers. I have worked in retail. And even entertainment helping architect some of the major systems powering Xbox One.

But at my heart is the love to create -- in the act of expressing. As an artist I love the visual line, and the simplicity of black and white. I love to tell stories, although I am a rather atrocious writer. Nevertheless, my aspirations -- while not likely to be met with commercial success -- are along two lines. One, write illustrated childrens' novels. Two, create computer games. I am working on both at the moment, albeit the video game is coming along better than the novel.
