Gugu Shabangu

I am currently in my 3rd year of completing my Bachelors Degree of Education in the University of Johannesburg, in Gauteng South Africa. The University is one of South Africa’s highly ranked universities. I am majoring in Psychology and History and will be teaching Life Orientation and History in the FET phase. My belief is that education has the capacity to liberate, empower and inspire and that is what i aim to do in order to have a better influence in the lives of the learners that i will come across and to make a difference in South Africa as a whole. I believe that learners contribute to education as much as the educator does and if all educators can share a similar belief then the South African education system can be improved.
