I am the Founder and Director of Marine Conservation Network. The ocean has been part of my life for many years. I am a conservationist first and foremost. I have studied various life forms and ecology of the oceans and eventually became drawn to a closer study of cetacean and mammalian life forms, including whales, dolphins, Orca, sea lions seals, and sea otters. The oceans seemed to be an endless source of wonder.
It has become apparent that the oceans are being depleted and polluted. Unless the seas and the life in them are saved and conserved, there will be nothing left. The earth is one big interactive organism, and the death of one part will drastically alter all of the other parts. I have made it my personal goal and challenge to bring together all ocean conservation organizations, globally, and educate the general public of the importance of conservation efforts and sustainability. It is my mission to close the communication gap with in the scientific and technological communities to general public.
