I have twelve years of experience as an executive assistant. I graduated from Fox Business College in 1998 and went to work as a sales rep for a corrugated container company. I soon needed to switch gears and do what I was called to do. So, I went to work as an executive assistant for a small cap hedge fund owner. When I started, I was the only employee. By the time I left, the company had employed 18 people and started an international office. I spent seven years and learned not only to be an amazing executive assistant but also how to run a business. During my career, I went to school part-time, and, in 2007, I graduated with my B.A. in Business Administration. After graduating, I wanted to spread my wings and try something new. I went to work for a paper recycling company for three years, first as a director of office operations, then as a sales and marketing coordinator. It was a wonderful experience, which afforded me the opportunity to be involved in many different aspects of running the business, and I learned a ton of new skills. I have always loved supporting small businesses, but I wanted to support them in a way that could accommodate my family's schedule. I found Assist University (AssistU), and it was love at first sight. I signed up for the intense 20-week program, which has been referred to as the "Harvard" of the virtual assistant world. I completed the program and am excited to take my passion and expertise and share it with my portfolio of clients as an incredible administrative partner.
