Alan Walton has been closely involved with the TIVA (total intravenous anaesthesia) market for 12 years and has a contact base across the world. Alan has been responsible for the introduction of the world's first 'needle free' IV valves into the UK market during his time running the KV and Pharma divisions of B.Braun Ltd(UK). Alan introduced, through Mediplus Ltd, a range of dedicated TIVA administration sets and iv peripheral connector sets which are in use today across Europe. Alan had the knowhow to vastly improve on the current TIVA sets in use and spent considerable time in developing with Consultant Anaesthetists a new and innovative range of TivaTek dedicated TIVA administration sets. His prime task was to massively elevate the safety profile of administering TIVA.
