This rod and reel is special to me. The rod and reel symbolizes my love for the outdoors and fishing. There is no better feeling than catching an 8-pound bass after a hard day of school or work. Every day when I get home from school or football practice I find time to squeeze in at least 10 minutes of fishing in before the sun sets. The reel is a quantum KVD series with a 6,3 to 1 gear ratio. Its my favorite reel because its so smooth when I caste and it fits me perfict. The rod is my favorite rod because it's durable. It's a carbon lite 7foot 6inch rod. I chose this set up because it's the best for the conditions that I fish.
