Hey my name's Wyatt Tucker Shields, and I love playing basketball on my mini hoop. Once I accepted the fact that I'll probably never be able to dunk (probably), I realized how much fun mini hoop basketball is, it is pretty much like playing the game of basketball in God Mode. Growing up I loved to shoot dirty laundry across my room into my hoop hoping I'd make it so that my clothes would fall down into the laundry basket that had been strategically placed at the bottom of the closet door. I live with ten of my best friends at a house on Hull Street and hanging on the inside of our front door is my mini basketball hoop. When the days in Athens drag on and boredom starts to set in, you can find at least 3-4 of us shooting around on the small hoop. Catch us on a good night and you'll see ten college students playing actual competitive games of mini hoop basketball, H-O-R-S-E, and Knockout. It's actually almost concerning just how competitive these games tend to get. This past Christmas my mom asked me to please finally tell her something that I want, and I told her it would make my year if I got a new mini hoop since we had broken my old one the first week of college, she decided not to ask me what presents I wanted anymore and proceeded to not get me a mini hoop for Christmas, but luckily for me she did give me $100, which is easily enough to buy myself one, and I did the next day.
