I'm the director of the digital marketing research team at Ignite Visibility, a top digital marketing agency in San Diego, CA. I tell stories with data and I write ugly code; I can script a custom tool in google sheets, build custom dashboards, or hack together an API mashup.

I treat each day of my life like I'm in a laboratory; I test and optimize everything I can.

I have years of line experience (sales & canvassing), and I worked as a brand advocate for brands such as HP, Intel, Belkin, and more where I learned the in and out of channel sales & the importance of leverage.

Brand advocacy put me right in the trenches. I've seen (and in some cases helped) products succeed despite a poor brand image (I increased Belkin router sales in my territory by double digits). and I've seen superior products struggle because they didn't understand their customer (I'm looking at you, Sharp!). I believe that having a great product is good, operational efficiency is good, but understanding your customer is best.
