William ''Wyzle'' Otieno
Nairobi,Kenya
William Wycliff Otieno was born in Nairobi – Kenya. At a tender age he developed a keen interest in music and arts. He was filled with the urge to reach out to society through art.
Bearing the stage name ‘Wyzle’, William set out to exhibit his talent. He recorded & mixed his first track ever, a cover of Wiz Khalifa’s chart-topper “Black & Yellow”, in his bedroom using his computer and elementary equipment. Wyzle worked more on his music and did his first mix-tape named Nairobi’s Very Own (NVO) comprised of 5 songs. His undisputed talent and passion landed him an opportunity to make music with one of the best producers in the game, Madtraxx, who finessed his first official studio track called “Take Off” featuring Plan Zee. While schooling and still devoting precious time on his music, the young talent got immersed in the idea of creating music that cuts across a variety of genres and styles, such that by the year 2012 he already had a collection of more than 10 tracks ranging from Hip-Hop, Afropop, Funk & RnB. Wyzle has developed his musical scene with different producers such as GnX, Magic Mike, Marshall from First Class Music, and Sir Alex Red.
In November 2012, Wyzle signed up with Mausay Media as a step towards transcending his local sensation status to a full-blown icon in the entertainment industry. The artist is bracing himself for his first official album release, with a track list consisting of productions from Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.
