Welcome to my website!
My name is Zi Qian, and I hope that by exploring this site you get to know more about me and what I do.
To start with, I am a keen game programmer who is always searching for new ways to improve myself. I have years of experience woking on and learning many different programming languages, game development software and technology. I also have several experienes of devloping game projects both in groups as well as individually.
As someone with a strong passion and curiosity for video games and technology, I will not hesitate to learn about the latest game technology, be it new engines, or new consoles and am always willing to look into and learn the latest programming skills to update my skillset.
Therefore, I am currently seeking a position in which I can learn and work on new technology or skills to improve myself as a programmer.

As you can see, I have received a wide variety of skills and experiences outside of just programming during my time as a game programmer. To elaborate on the last point, I have worked in multiple teams of different people to create diffenrent games for our project assignments. Examples include my first year where I worked in a team of 4 programmers to create a pseudo-First-Person shooting game horror game using text format only and my third year, where I lead a team of 3 programmers to create a maze survival horror game with OpenGL. In my third year I also worked individually on a game project called DashFood, an arcade game on the PC made in Unity where I took inspiration from the popular arcade game Crazy Taxi and Grand Theft Auto V.
Therefore, not only am I confident in my programming skills and passion, but I have also gained years of experience working on many game projects to back them up.
