The basic desciption suggested by About.me during the sign up process is simple but very effective ... so Hi! I'm Xavier. I'm currently living near Paris in France where I work in IT projects (System and DevOps engineer, workstation and web developer).

IT is a passion for me, so I work for my pleasure on open source technologies like Web server or mail server under Linux Debian, virtualization with OpenVZ, KVM, QEMU ... always looking for new solutions to work remotely or make my life easier ;) I'm an operational developer "DevOps", and most of the time I work on Linux Bash and Windows PowerShell scripts. The Dev part of my jobs also relates to workstation applications development with technologies C#. I'm also a web developer, PHP is my religion ! But as I work on C# workstation applications, I also work on ASP.Net and C# for the Web.

Last year, I've started to work on Microsoft ADFS federated SSO and Linux Shibboleth to authenticate users with ActiveDirectory on a Linux PHP web applications. A tricky project but it works fine !

Finally, I worked on an automation concept for critical files transfers. Depending on my client decision, I designed a solution with Microsoft SCCM Orchestrator. This project is tricky too, but it also works fine ;)

Since a few weeks now, I was hired for a new job/position. I now work on online advertising projects ...
