Xavier is a human resources professional whose experience spans several different industries. He has worked for companies and institutions in the areas of news media, education, retail and finance. He specializes in the HR discipline of staffing management which encompasses functions such as recruiting, onboarding, program management, employee development and recognition. He was formally educated at Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business where he achieved a bachelors degree in human resource management and english. His education has been furthered with training at Cornel University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and at Rockhurst University. He is a certified "Competent Leader" and “Competent Communicator” by Toastmasters International, an organization that helps individuals develop communication and leadership skills.

Xavier is proficent in the HR competencies of full-life cycle recruitment, behavioral and competency based Interviews, onboarding, diversity planning, project management, applicant tracking systems and job posting aggregators.

His experiences have taught him the importance of constantly evolving to achieve great things in all aspects of life. He understands that service to others fosters growth and builds relationships.

Xavier enjoys modeling and is currently represented by Wild Models Talent Agency. As a model, his focus is commercial print, specializing in high fashion, lifestyle, fitness, catalog and more. He is currently part of the "Hunks 4 Hope" project, a collaboration between models, photographers and designers to create a male calendar whose proceeds will provide support to victims and survivors of domestic violence.
