Xenia Alcantara is an Interior Design student at British Columbia Institute of Technology, working towards completing the Bachelor Degree for April 2016. The program has allowed for knowledge in commercial design through projects in hospitality, healthcare, office, retail and restaurant. A field study experience in Tokyo, Japan as well as a collaborative project with architecture and design students from HAWK University in Hildesheim, Germany.

She is currently working part-time in the restaurant industry for The Keg Steakhouse and Bar, who has been named one of Canada's Top 50 Employers for 13 consecutive years. The company has influenced skills in communication and professionalism.

Her passions are not only towards Interior Design, Architecture and Design, but towards Faith, People and the Community as well. Being a part of the leadership community in the local church as well as music ministry has impacted her compassion for people.

She is currently living and working in Vancouver, BC.
