As a joyful woman with Cerebral Palsy, a blogger for Positively Positive, and teacher of Beauty and Self-Esteem to young women with disabilities, this about.me entry is not about me. It's about the 54+ million in the United States with disabilities, including my beautiful students, and hundreds of millions more around the world who are dying to see someone like them on a billboard. Those who are dying to know that they, too, are beautiful. That their beauty is bigger than any billboard....yet worthy of Times Square and about.me. It is said, that if you want something done, you’ve got to do it yourself. It is for this reason I've chosen to stand up and share what I believe - that absolutely everyone is beautiful. Period. This page is for the millions who deserve to be heard, seen, and celebrated!
