I am a student from China who started having an interest in the sport industry since I was five years old. I often watch sport games and talk about the strategies athletes use and the organizing aspect of the game as a whole with my grandpa who is a national athlete in China. As a young girl in China it was unusual to have a strong passion about the sport industry. I am passionate about sport management because it's the most exciting industry. I am often inspired by the hard work and persistence of athletes and want to contribute all myself to the industry.
Currently, I am a highly-motivated Sport Management junior at Mark H. McCormack Department of Sport Management who is actively seeking internships for in sport industry. I wish to work for international sports, event management, marketing, public relations and work with teams. I want to be an event manager/coordinator, an agent, a team manager or assistant in the industry. My final goal is to work for the International Olympic Committee, doing event management and promote sports internationally.
