My name is Xiaoyang, Li. a current student at Algonquin college with a major in international business. I have lived in China for 20 years, and I decided to study my post secondary education in Canada after my high school graduation. I enjoy my life a lot here in Canada because Ottawa is a peaceful gorgeous and quiet place for live and study. People are very nice and friendly, they always give me a hand when I need help.
Algonquin College provides me a practical environment that I can learn hands-on knowledge in order to convert to current labour force immediately. My instructors let us know what is exactly happening in the real business world. I will graduate in 2015 with the CITP certificate (certificate for international trade professional), which is an asset for me to look for my ideal job in international business field. I am pride of my school that giving me a diversified study environment to learn more about different culture worldwide. Now I feel more confident on myself because my school gives me a lot of positive energy and I do believe Canada will give me a chance to show my talent.
