M. Ximena Maceri

Ximena is a professor, researcher, and educator from Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a Bachelor of Arts in TESOL (Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina - UCA). She has completed postgraduate courses on Feminine Narratives, New Writings in English, South African Literatures and Feminism, Art and Literature in Argentina, as part of her PhD program with UNCuyo (doctorado en Letras).

She is a language trainer, specialised in English and Spanish as a Second and Foreign language. She has taught at university, tertiary and secondary level at different institutions and Teacher Training Programmes. She has trained private learners of all ages and has been an online tutor for over 14 years now, providing services to in-company professionals in Argentina and abroad. As a scholar, she does research in the fields of Gender Studies, Literature and Intercultural Education.

She loves outdoor activities and the arts in general. She has a passion for coffee and the cinema. She is a mother and a cactus lover.
