Ximena Vazquez
Marietta, Georgia, United States
I moved to Miami, Florida from Lima, Peru at the age of ten. What was supposed to be a two-year ordeal turned into making the Sunshine State my home.
I graduated from the University of Miami with a major in Advertising and Photography and minors in Marketing and French. Two years later, I was packing my bags and saying "Hola!" to Barcelona, Spain to pursue a Master of Communication with a focus on Advertising, PR and Communication Strategies. I am now a resident of Atlanta, Georgia.
For the past ten years, I worked in sales and marketing for one of the largest translation companies in the southeast. I contributed to the growth of the company by building solid relationships and set the record for the largest sale in the company's 40-year history. Yeah!
During the last three years, I was responsible for all facets of marketing, including rebranding initiatives and a complete overhaul of the website (which you can can check out here: www.protranslating.com).
I believe that with an open heart, a good attitude and great communication, anything is possible.
Some things I've done:
- Skydived in Sebastian Beach, Florida at 13,500 feet
- Jumped off a cliff and paraglided in Lima, Peru
- Took deep breaths at one of the deepest canyons in the world, Colca Canyon, Peru
- Zip lined between treetops in Chiang Mai, Thailand
