Xin 'Cindy' Chen

I am a PhD student in engineering education at Purdue University. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. My research now focuses on social media analytics in the context of engineering education and research. My research involves both qualitative methods and quantitative analysis on large-scale informal datasets. I also gain experience in web information retrieval and web design in my research.

I believe social media, Internet, modern technologies are big big amazing things, but we need to learn the healthy ways to live with them, in order to make technology a triumph of humanity!

I am a very reflective person. I like to observe the world. I am curious and excited about new things, and always ready to learn.

I like sunshine, warm places, beaches, badminton, yoga, swimming, cooking and eating delicious food, and I'm always ready to explore new possibilities in life.
