I was born in China, but when I came to America, I adopted the English name, David. My focus is on my studies. I studied in China my whole life until I came to America in 2012. Studying in another language has been difficult because there are so many differences not just in studies, but in culture and lifestyles. It has been a valuable experience - it has made me more independent, immersing myself in the English language gives me a better understanding of communication, and seeing different ways of approaching education and life has opened my mind to other possibilities. I believe in working together to achieve goals. Anything is fun when you do it with your best friend. I love to play sports, especially basketball. Playing sports keeps me healthy. I love gaming because it relaxes me when I am nervous and helps wind down from a busy day.
