So I guess I can talk about music games or something.

uhm I started playing Guitar Hero 3, had no idea what I was doing, still don't. Then I moved to other guitar hero games, got pretty well all of them. Still can't clear Through the Fire and the Flames on expert. Then I moved into Stepmania for like 3 days, with DDR close behind for maybe half a year. Had some shitty US release for that, didn't mind much for it. Then Rockband came out and that was the shit. Learned drums/guitar hardcore. Got to expert on those, got bored because timing in those game is easy as shitting. dropped out of music games for a while. Discover that I really like J-music about a year and a half ago, got into vocaloid. Vocaloid packs are out for Stepmania so I jump on that shit. Play the shit out of that and get good fast since 4 key is pretty easy until you get into REALLY high level stuff. Hear about this Osu game with tournies and shit. Ok try it on friends phone, think it's an android game. Have shit phone. Google it one day see it's for PC. Grab that shit, go hardcore and buy tablet for it. Got up to rank 8k wordwide in 8 months. Get bored of that. Learn Osu!Mania for a bit, get into that, then DJMAX and more Stepmania with keyboard. Then learn about Beatmania, from same company as DDR. OK so I grab LR2, start off with BMS and stuff on keyboard. Buy a dao for BMS. Find non sows for Tricoro, and now here I am.

Uh as far as music goes I listened to the Deco*27 song "Once Upon a Me" that a friend posted to FB, fell in love with Vocaloid/Doujin/Japanese music and now that is pretty well all I listen to. Also got me into animu and mango.
