Yenissette Arias

My name is Yenissette Arias but most call me Yenny. I recently decided to change my major to Public Administration with a minor in Criminal Justice. I was originally majoring in Chemistry but decided that it wasn't exactly what I needed to further on my current career. My original intentions were to become a forensic chemist. I currently work for Miami-Dade County Consumer Services Business Affairs, which is what made me change my mind on my major. As I continued to work with the public on a day to day basis I realized that I enjoyed my current job. Once I obtain my bachelors degree I hope to move up in the department and one day become the director of human resources.

As of this semester I am now a junior, and hope to continue at the rapid pace that I have been at. My hobbies are dancing, watching soap operas on my spare time and playing basketball. In the next five years I hope to be completing my master's degree and be working for Miami-Dade County Human Resources.

Two websites that I am constantly on are www.tmz.com and I must say www.iheartradio.com because I enjoy listening to music and love studying with it as well. I look forward to having a great semester and hearing more from all my classmates.
