YooJin Kim is a collaborative pianist active in both chamber music and song accompaniment. She has recently performed in the Rossini concert of the Royal Academy of Music Song Circle in Italian Cultural Institute, and the Singing Cello recital with cellist Yanyan Lin was well-received. She is in her final year of Master of Arts in Piano Accompaniment under the guidance of Michael Dussek at the Royal Academy of Music.

Born in South Korea, YooJin trained in Seoul Arts High School and Seoul National University. She went on to study in the United States where she completed her Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Literature at Eastman School of Music and Professional Studies Certificate in Piano at Manhattan School of Music under the guidance of Solomon Mikowsky. She continued her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Chopin in Warsaw, Poland.

YooJin has won numerous prizes from national competitions in Korea and made her orchestral debut at the age of thirteen with Seoul Symphony Orchestra at Seoul Arts Center. She has participated and performed in International Piano Festivals in Spain and France as well as in masterclasses with Steven Isserlis, Martin Canin, John Perry, Klaus Hellwig, and Helmut Deutsch.

YooJin currently lives in North London with her husband and two sons.
