Y2Payments

Established in 1985, Y2Payments offers retailers, schools, web-based businesses, and government agencies an alternative to tiered-rate charging in credit-card processing, saving clients time and money. Y2Payments uses interchange-plus pricing, which eliminates the dreaded non-qualified and mid-qualified transactions that appear on approximately 70 percent of merchant accounts, driving up costs.

The company provides services nationwide through a network of referral agents who share the Y2Payments commitment to putting clients' interests first. Ron Viemont oversees operations from the company's headquarters in Peoria, Illinois.

The firm can customize payment systems with a number of features. Available options include website colors and graphics; company communications and collateral materials; particular applications; interactive voice response; and shopping carts. The Y2Payments system can also be configured to accept payments made by paper check, electronic check, and debit card.

Y2Payments clients who are local resellers and referral agents have access to several unique services. These clients can use the Partner Portal, which offers lead tracking, downloads, training videos, and sales materials. Under the system instituted by Ron Viemont, Y2Payments also provides reseller partners with leads, while the sales team manages leads with SalesForce.com or the Partner Portal lead-tracking system. Additionally, resellers can sell third-party applications.

Ron Viemont and Y2Payments work with partners to assist clients in growing their businesses. ACH Direct, Inc., for instance, joined Y2Payments in order to provide a cost-effective, multi-channel payment system that approximately half a million people utilize monthly.

CONDUIT, the company's secure payment gateway, processes payments in real time, one at a time, in batches, or in bulk; provides online and custom reporting; and offers support for the payment software in all industries. For those with multiple customer relationships, the Y2Payments system consolidates reports and can sort reports in accordance with a client's organizational structure.
