Yaacov Ginsburg

An adventurer and explorer, Los Angeles resident Yaacov Ginsburg has traveled around the Baja peninsula, absorbing Central American culture and landscapes by taking the back roads and visiting the area’s many beaches. While there, Mr. Ginsburg spends time whale watching in areas such as Scammon’s Bay and Laguna Ignacio. He has covered thousands of miles, seeking pristine locations, often spending hours on the sand without a soul in sight. He also enjoys conversing with the local peoples, whom he finds to be incredibly friendly. Additionally, Yaacov Ginsburg has enjoyed visiting Guadalupe Canyon, a destination near Mexicali with picturesque hot springs and beautiful trails for hiking. Baja further provides a wide variety of perfect surf spots. Yaacov Ginsburg enjoys the rhythm of the waves and the connection with nature as much as the excitement of the sport. In addition to surfing locations in Mexico, Mr. Ginsburg has traveled to destinations such as Malibu, California, and Kauai, an island of Hawaii, which are home to his favorite surfing spots to date. These locations provide Mr. Ginsburg with ample opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of life in the city and feel at one with nature. Passionate about the outdoors, Yaacov Ginsburg likes to visit San Quintin, Baja California, for its yellowtail and sea bass sport fishing and long stretches of unpopulated beach. The Sierra Nevada Mountains, Yosemite National Park, and Sequoia National Park offer additional opportunities for exploring the mountains and hot springs. Mr. Ginsburg has even hiked the Half Dome Cables Route, a challenging 8-mile trek at Yosemite.
