YAC SANDIEGO

Young Adult Community (YAC) is a faith-based organization designed to meet the specific spiritual needs of the collegiate, post-graduate, and professional congregation. We do this in three ways:

• Spiritual

With bible study every Thursday at 7p.m., we aim to build a deeper understanding of Christ and of our role as Christians through conversations about the upcoming Sunday readings. We also explore our more prayerful and meditative side.

• Service

"Love your neighbor as yourself." With this in mind, we try and serve people in need in our home town through various community service events.

• Social

As Christians, we believe in the call to be "fishers of men" as Saint Peter was called by Jesus. In this way, we bring each other closer to God while still having fun and being young!

On this journey, we occasionally need the support of our fellow Catholics to refresh our souls and share experiences with each other.
